Legal psychedelic training retreats for mental health professionals

Glad you found us!

Perspective(s) Retreats offers a unique, legal opportunity for therapists and others with a professional interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy to gain both practical and experiential knowledge of working with psychedelics based on contextual behavioral science and other evidence-based approaches. Participants will have the opportunity both to grow personally from participating in their own psilocybin experience and to gain valuable experience sitting for others undertaking a psilocybin journey.  All while earning 18 continuing education credits.

Applications are now open for our next retreat, August 2–9, 2027.

In Their Own Words

Reflections from past participants

As an experienced clinician with some terror about psychedelics, I can say wholeheartedly that I am very glad to have taken the leap and participated in this retreat. It was a profoundly meaningful and genuinely pivotal experience for me personally, as well as for my clinical practice. It is led by a team of professionals who are ethical, thoughtful, well-informed in the research and clinical literature, and wise. Their facilitation of the retreat was deeply skillful - in the preparation, setting the retreat context itself, and in the integration phase. If you are interested in learning more about yourself, about how to explore perhaps untended parts of yourself, about reaching for joy and meaning, I encourage you to try it. I could not recommend this experience more highly. It - and you - are worth it.

What Makes Us Unique

Evidence Based

All preparation and integration activities are carefully chosen based on current evidence about processes of change related to psychedelics and include interventions based on evidence-based approaches to psychological change.

Values driven

Everything we do is shaped by our shared values of openness, safeness, self-transcendence, and light-heartedness. We try not to take ourselves too seriously and aim to balance practicality with profound altered states experiences.

Preparation
& Integration

We understand that many of the most profound impacts of psychedelic experiences don’t necessarily occur only during the journey and thus place significant emphasis on our pre-retreat preparation and post-retreat integration sessions.

Secular

Legal

Inside-out, Outside-in

Our retreats offer a secular, science-based approach to psychedelics. While we respect all spiritual traditions, and welcome you to bring your own, we will not impose one upon you. Nor will we appropriate from other traditions.

All retreat activities are fully legal, so you can speak freely about your retreat experience without concerns about ethical or legal breaches.

Our retreats offer the unique opportunity to have your own psychedelic experiences and also to get training on and experience with being a sitter, so that you have wrap around experience of both perspectives. All while earning 18 continuing education credits.
