Perspective Spring 2025 Retreat

This retreat is designed for those who have a professional interest in psychedelics, whether that be as a potential provider of psychedelic-assisted therapy or through gaining knowledge and experience that might inform their work with others who have had psychedelic experiences. The experience itself is part experiential, part retreat, part training, and part group work – it involves learning about the psychedelic experience from the inside out (and from the outside in).

The retreat is designed to help participants:

Retreat Structure

Sitting and Dosing

Participants have the opportunity to learn and engage during these retreats via two roles:

EXPERIENCER

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ingest psilocybe cubensis on two different days. You will also be guided in preparation and integration before and after each experience.

SITTER

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and guide others during their psilocybin journeys. We will provide preparation, support, and debriefing of this role as well. No prior experience is expected or required.

This structure allows all participants to have the opportunity to have experience in both the journeying and supporting role, which we believe allows for increased learning through perspective-taking and a deeper understanding of the therapeutic potential of psychedelic experiences. This structure also harnesses the unique power that can come from group psychedelic experiences.

Our aim is to choose and form cohesive, supportive groups that can
enhance each member’s individual growth and professional identity. In addition to these in-retreat experiences, we believe, and research shows, that preparation and integration are essential to derive the most benefit from psilocybin sessions. Included in the retreat are three online group preparation sessions that will help retreatants prepare for their retreat within the confines of busy lives. Following the retreat, there will also be three online group integration sessions that will give participants concrete tools to help them incorporate andcontinue to grow from their experiences long after the retreat is over.
